About the role
As the Manager, Talent Development, you will report to the Director, Talent Development. You will help create and cultivate Mission Cloud’s culture of continuous growth. You will create new programs and development experiences that unlock the potential of leaders, teams, and individuals in a culture that strives for excellence.
This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage a team of talent development specialists and instructional designers to implement company-wide learning & development strategy
- Design and deliver creative and modern learning experiences for the Mission Cloud team, including in-person, virtual, and self-paced training
- Collect feedback on training and continuously refine training modules
- Integrate DEI principles; ensure inclusivity and accessibility in all training
- Build and manage training programs to foster professional growth, including leadership and other development programs
- Collaborate with internal teams to build onboarding programs and new hire training
- Work cross-departmentally to understand team learning needs and find or build training to meet those needs
- Conduct regular meetings with department managers to review training progress and identify areas for improvement
- Build and maintain career paths to support internal growth
- Manage Talent Development software and relationship with vendors, including the Learning Management System
- Report on training program metrics including overall CSAT; ensure satisfaction with training remains high
- Find and contract with external training providers necessary to meet business needs
- Provide individual and team coaching; assist in creation of professional development plans
- Build and continuously update companywide training on products and services
- Manage company training calendar; assist other departments in building and presenting training
Requirements
- Experience building and delivering training in a remote environment
- Experience building and executing professional development programs, including leadership development
- Ability to create creative, interactive training
- Experience administrating learning management systems and e-learning platforms
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions
- Experience creating training alone and with teams
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques
- Understanding of inclusive learning principles
- Ability and desire to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for continuous learning and development
- Proficiency in e-learning
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (to be obtained within 1 year of employment)
