Inside the Role

As the Small Business Credit Administrator you will analyze and deliver sound credit decisions on applications received in Small Business Credit for Owner Operator and Vocational Segments. You will develop strong working relationships with dealer partners that support the DTFS Value Proposition.

This is a DTFS Band 90 position.

What You Drive at DTFS

• Analyze, investigate, and decision retail and lease applications. Communicate credit decisions to the dealer via phone and eCP. Negotiate conditioned approvals and new structures with the dealers
• Build positive working relationships with assigned dealers/region. Provide courteous consultative and timely customer service to dealers
• Work with DFMs on buying strategies for assigned dealerships to ensure proper credit risk and return is achieved. Support DFM in communicating the DTFS value proposition
• Validate application information, collect additional data and collaborate with the discounting team to resolve funding discrepancies
• Work 1st payment defaults and follow up on customers coming off extensions. Act as a liaison between collections and the dealers
• Travel to assigned dealerships to review business performance in conjunction with the DFMs

Knowledge You Should Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of experience in Finance, Truck Discounting, Truck Remarketing, Fleet Services, Collections or Customer Service
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in business related field
