Amada Estrada - Supervisor
Up to 15 hours weekly. Schedule to be determined with supervisor.
Students will be allowed to work remotely from Austin, Texas.

Purpose
The BOPS (Business Operations) team supports the Governmental Affairs and Initiatives/OnRamps department by providing a variety of services, including Accounting, Purchasing, HR, and more. Senior Student Associates assist the Business Operations team on projects including but not limited to, Accounting, Purchasing, and HR data entry and reporting, customer service, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Supports the Invoicing/Payments specialist by creating payment vouchers in DEFINE, such as VP1s, VP2s, VPEs, and VP5s.
Processes affiliate assignments and one-time payments in Workday to assist the Human Resource Coordinator.
Assists the Senior Procurement & Contracts specialist with creation and processing purchase orders and travel authorizations.
Provides excellent customer service.
Other duties and projects as assigned to assist the Enrollment & Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
Current undergraduate or graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
At least one professional or academic reference
Organized and highly flexible
High level accuracy and attention to detail
Able and willing to learn new software systems quickly
Available for shifts of at least two hours between 7:30 am - 4 pm, Monday – Friday
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in administrative support within UT
Experience with DEFINE, Workday, Smartsheet, and/or PointPlus
Salary
$12.00 - $14.50 hourly
Working Conditions
May work around standard office conditions.
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Remote work environment
Use of manual dexterity
