Unit Associate I - Per Diem, Various Shifts, ER, Morristown Medical Center

• Unit Representative functions in the Emergency Department; responds to patients/ family's needs in a courteous, positive and timely manner with confidence and compassion that reflect AHS PRIDE values.
• Courteously and promptly answers multiple telephone calls, receiving and giving accurate and complete message to appropriate personnel according to hospital and departmental guidelines.
• Presents information in an articulate, organized and coherent manner. 
• Review and enter physician orders and file appropriately in patient's chart. 
• Calls attending physicians as directed by ED physician in a timely manner.  

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Relevant Experience:

• Prior experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred
• Prior medical experience i.e. nursing school, hospital work, doctors office
