Principal Architect – Salesforce Platform (Multi-Cloud)

JOB SUMMARY

Argano’s Salesforce Business Unit is seeking a seasoned Principal Architect with deep Salesforce platform expertise and a strong track record of leading large-scale, multi-cloud enterprise solutions. This strategic, client-facing role is ideal for a platform leader who combines technical excellence with strong communication, subject matter expertise and thought leadership.

As a Principal Architect, you will define architectural vision, shape platform strategy, and lead solution governance across complex Salesforce programs—spanning Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing/RCA), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform integrations. While deep specialization in Revenue Cloud is essential, working experience across other Salesforce clouds is required to deliver holistic, end-to-end solutions.

Ideal candidates have over 12 years of experience, hold multiple Salesforce certifications, and excel in influencing both technical and business stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and a strong business consulting presence are critical to success in this role.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and lead Salesforce architecture strategy across enterprise engagements and transformation programs
• Lead solution design workshops, deliver technical presentations, and translate business goals into scalable platform architecture
• Partner with executive stakeholders to align Salesforce architecture with enterprise objectives
• Provide leadership across the full solution lifecycle: discovery, design, estimation, roadmap planning, governance, and delivery oversight
• Architect secure, scalable, and performant multi-cloud Salesforce solutions
• Govern and review architecture deliverables to ensure alignment with standards and enterprise goals
• Evaluate architectural trade-offs and guide executive-level solution conversations
• Stay ahead of emerging Salesforce technologies (e.g., RCA, Data Cloud, Agentforce) and integrate them into client solutions
• Establish and maintain platform development standards, DevOps practices, and integration patterns
• Collaborate across Argano’s cloud teams and partner ecosystems to design integrated, value-driven solutions
• Mentor solution architects and technical consultants to elevate delivery quality and architectural maturity
• Serve as a platform thought leader, contributing to client innovation, internal IP, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience

• 12+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including 5+ years in architecture leadership roles
• Strong business consulting presence with the ability to lead customer conversations and influence decision-making at the executive level
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing, RCA) is essential
• Working experience across other Salesforce Clouds including Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
• Proven experience delivering enterprise Salesforce programs across industries and complex environments
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, data strategy, and integration design (API-led, middleware, MDM)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities such as Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, and platform security (hands-on expertise is not required)
• Demonstrated success engaging with both technical and business stakeholders, with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in regulated or complex industries such as manufacturing, high-tech, or financial services is a plus
