Software Development Engineer- Advisor

About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor I, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you'll do:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 6+ years of experience in Python and snowflake.
• 6+ years of experience with model building and deploying cloud solutions in AWS machine learning eco-system.
• 3+ years of experience in implementation enterprise grade model - data engineering, feature engineering, model training, building, deploying and tunning.
• 2+ years of experience in end-to-end lifecycle of ML from algorithm selection to performance tuning.
• 2+ years of experience integrating real-time ML OPS, model drift and deployment strategies of inferencing model.

• 1+ years of experience with Fiserv systems/applications.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience in the financial services industry.

• Experience in generative AI,RAG, Agentic workflows is nice to have but not required.

Important information about this role:

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

• This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.

Salary Range

$110,000.00 - $186,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
