Job Summary

Senior React Native Developer to collaborate the team in developing key user flows for Holiday 2025. You will play a crucial role in translating existing designs into actionable JIRA tickets, breaking them into initiatives, epics, and user stories, and assisting in estimating effort (LOE) and prioritization. This role requires strong technical expertise in React Native, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with client-facing stakeholders, including Technical Directors (TD) and Tech Leads.

Responsibilities

Development & Implementation:

• Build high-quality, performant React Native applications for Holiday 2025 initiatives.

• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, scalable, and maintainable code.

• Ensure smooth integration with existing systems and APIs.

Project Planning & Backlog Management:

• Work closely with the team to decompose designs into JIRA tickets (initiatives, epics, user stories).

• Assist in estimating Level of Effort (LOE) and prioritizing backlog items for development.

• Help create a comprehensive backlog by end of August in collaboration with tech leadership.

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as a client-facing technical representative, aligning development efforts with business goals.

• Work with Technical Directors (TD) and Tech Leads to refine requirements and provide feasibility assessments.

• Participate in design and taxonomy discussions to support holiday efforts.

Code Quality & Best Practices:

• Enforce clean, modular, and reusable code practices.

• Ensure adherence to performance, accessibility, and security standards.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in React Native development.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/React Native, and mobile app architecture.

• Experience working with JIRA (or similar Agile tools) to break down tasks into user stories, epics, and initiatives.

• Ability to estimate LOE and contribute to backlog prioritization.

• Client-facing experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with design systems, UI/UX principles, and translating Figma/Sketch designs into code.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
