Job Summary

Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives and contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results. Typically manages a team of analysts who work to support reporting and analytic trends for Tech Ops & Engineering in the Central Division. Manage cross functional teams to collect new reporting requirements, retrieve, analyze and summarize data to optimize effectiveness, predict operational outcomes and recommend decisions to meet consumer expectations. Ensure internal control adherence, provides audit support and understands consumer data privacy laws.
Involved with numerous key business decisions by overseeing the analyses that inform our Tech Ops and Engineering operational strategy. This may include: supporting executive stakeholders and operational teams with easy-to-use visualization reports and dashboards, develop analytical models for predictive reporting capabilities, drive analyses to understand drivers of key operational trends, identify customer sentiment drivers through natural language processing (NLP) of verbatim responses to Net Promotor System (NPS) surveys and development of frameworks to drive insights to track and monitor performance metrics across cross-functional teams. Contributes to Tech & Engineering functional strategy development through informed data analytics and decision models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop a community of operational effectiveness through a Center of Excellence standards and guidelines for all report development and data access.
• Lead discussions with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
• Advise on the relevancy of data and identifies alternative data sources as needed to ensure analytics requested by business stakeholders can be completed.
• Review and communicate findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to executives and decisionmakers
• Promote and evangelize a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
• Stay current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning and apply them to business challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable facilitating meetings with senior executive leaders

• Oversee analyzation of large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
• Review and communicate findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to executives and decision makers.
• Team combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete analysis.
• Lead identification of key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Review analysis of the results of initiatives to measure their effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Review and communicate findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decision makers.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in managing teams of data/reporting resources.
• Experience managing data and conducting quantitative analysis is desired.
