What You’ll do (the role)

Summary 

The Summer Internship program is twelve weeks long and will run from June 2nd 2025 to August 22nd 2025. Interns will be paid 1.500€ brut/month. This is a hybrid role, and the trainee must be able to work from our office in Madrid at least 3 days per week. 

Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for two trainees to join our Delivery EMEA team in the following departments:

  • Commercial Engineering
  • Grid

 

Commercial Engineering

As an intern in the Commercial Engineering Team, you will support the Commercial Engineering team in the design, planning, and execution of solar projects. Responsibilities include preparing layouts, analyzing technical data, reviewing project specifications, and conducting research on solar, wind, and BESS technologies. You will collaborate with procurement, construction, and business development teams, participate in site visits and inspections, and use engineering software for simulations and calculations. Additionally, you will attend training sessions and workshops while providing general support for engineering tasks.

 

 

 

Grid

As an intern in the Grid team, you will support the Regulatory Manager in assessing grid regulations across Europe, ensuring compliance with grid codes and laws. Responsibilities include researching grid connection procedures, analyzing PV plant components for compliance, and maintaining interconnection procedures. You will also work on a summer-long project, presenting findings to senior leadership, and engaging in team and mentorship activities. This role offers hands-on experience in solar energy regulation, grid compliance, and technical assessments, preparing you for a future in renewable energy.

 

Who we’re looking for

Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently obtained a Degree or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field. 
  • Basic understanding of renewable energy or electrical engineering concepts. 
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office tools.
  • Familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, PVsyst, Power BI, Prezi or similar) is a plus. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Communication and organizational skills. 
  • Fluent English spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus.
