We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Solutions Architect - QA to join our team located in Dallas, TX or New York area.

Job Overview:

A Senior Solutions Architect - QA is expected to be knowledgeable in two or more technologies within the Automation QA Practice area. The Solutions Architect may or may not have a programming background, but will have expert infrastructure architecture, client presales / presentation, team management and thought leadership skills.

This role is focused on Web-based applications and will serve as the onshore QA lead, managing and guiding multiple offshore QA team members. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic capabilities, and have proven experience working with global teams and will serve as the primary offshore QA point of contact, driving excellence in automation, team leadership, and client engagement across multiple initiatives.

• Client Management & Communication
  • Serve as the primary offshore QA point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Provide proactive escalation of risks and align priorities with client QA leadership.
• Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Mentor and coach QA team members across projects.
  • Drive accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Drive daily QA stand-ups with client and sessions to ensure alignment and issue resolution.
• Process & Best Practices
  • Implement and enforce QA best practices including feature testing, test case reusability, regression planning, and defect management.
  • Ensure QA estimates are inclusive of all testing activities and accurately reflect team capacity.
  • Manage scope creep and coordinate with client to defer untestable items.
• Feature Understanding & Test Strategy
  • Deeply understand client features to guide test planning and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with BAs, developers, and POs to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Documentation & Reusability
  • Ensure test cases are detailed, reusable, and aligned with client expectations.
• Monitoring & Reporting
  • Conduct weekly QA health checks to monitor morale, delivery quality, and team bandwidth.

• 12+ years of experience in QA automation and test strategy.
• Proven experience leading large offshore QA teams and working in global delivery models.
• Strong technical expertise in: Selenium, RestAssured, Java, Playwright
• Strong hands-on experience with github copilot, chatgpt, ms copilot
• Proficient in leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation, support strategic initiatives, and enable data-driven decision-making.
• Possesses a strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations. 
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align QA efforts with business goals.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD integration.
• Need to have extremely strong leadership, communication, strategy and global experience.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in financial services or insurance domains.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
