Position Summary:

The candidate must meet and exceed the departmental needs with a strong desire to maintain the highest levels of quality, organization, cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas and equipment. Must be able to prepare all major food items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with techniques including, but not limited to: knife skills, steam/boil, saute, roast, fry, braise/stew, grill, and bake. Maintain temperature control charts of all food items produced.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate read and follow menus and recipes effectively in English and compute basic mathematical calculations. Ensure the proper handling / storage of all food items in accordance with healthcare standards and sanitation/health regulations.
