Job Summary

SUMMARY: THE SANITATION SUPERVISOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT ALL SANITATION PROCEDURES ACROSS KITCHENS, PANTRIES, CONCESSIONS STANDS, AND STORAGE AREAS MEET THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF CLEANLINESS AND HEALTH CODE COMPLIANCE. THIS ROLE PLAYS A CRITICAL PART IN MAINTAINING A SAFE AND SANITARY EVNIRONMENT FOR STAFF AND GUESTS AT THE DELTA CENTER. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE DETAIL-ORIENTED, PROACTIVE, AND COMFORTABLE MANAGING SANITATION ROUTINES IN A FAST-PACED, EVENT-DRIVEN SETTING. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee day-to-day sanitation operations in all back-of-house areas including concessions stands, pantries, warehouse, kitchens, dish rooms, storage areas, coolers/freezers.
• monitor and enforce all sanitation standards and health code requirements. 
• Supervise and direct the team to ensure proper cleaning, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance. 
• Complete and submit sanitation reports and logs as required. 
• Ensure chemicals and cleaning supplies are stored and used safely in accordance with health regulations. 
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections of workspaces to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Premium, Concessions, and Warehouse Management to address sanitation-related issues or violations immediatley.
• Assis in preparing for internal or external health inspections. 
• Train team members on proper sanitation procedures and safety protocols. 
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage reports, communication, and scheduling. 
• Maintain open communication with kitchen and operations team to support smooth execution of events. 
• Perform physical tasks including walking/standing for extended periods and occasional lifting (Up to 20lbs)
• Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed based on event demands. 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Utah ServSafe Certification required
