Job Summary
Goosehead is seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Generalist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department and ensuring a positive and productive work environment for all employees. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, providing support across the employee lifecycle.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Conduct background checks and reference checks.
Facilitate the new employee onboarding process, including orientation and HRIS system introduction.
Processing of immigration documentation
Employee Relations:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Benefits Administration:
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Coordinate annual open enrollment processes.
Liaise with benefits providers as needed.
HR Policy and Compliance:
Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Performance Management:
Support the implementation of the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
Assist managers and employees with performance-related matters.
Training and Development:
Identify employee training and development needs.
Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
Track employee training records.
HRIS Management:
Maintain and update employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Generate HR reports and analytics as needed.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Offboarding:
Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback.
Manage the administrative aspects of employee terminations.
Other HR Duties:
Participate in HR projects and initiatives.
Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
