ABOUT THE TEAM

 

The Business Operations department is in charge of running the bank. We take care of Trade Republic's business process management and ensure that operations run smoothly. The alignment of our processes with the company's strategic goals, designing and implementing scaling process architectures as well as establishing efficient process measurement systems are at the core of our mission.

Our scope covers a broad range of banking as well as business operations topics beginning from Market Operations and Securities Services to Payment Operations and AFC Operations.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Build reconciliations processes as our product offer expands in size and complexity
• Use your advanced SQL knowledge to extract data from our database and build reconciliations logics 
• Work with the product team to automate such processes where possible and shift them into our backoffice tool
• Build Looker dashboards to make the reconciliations process visible to the board

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• An energetic candidate, experienced in SQL and general data analysis 
• An individual experienced in fintech, with a good understanding of fund flows 
• A strong analyst with a passion for problem solving, and able to break down complex issues into bite sizes 
• A colleague who will be able to use their data experience to create reports for executives and senior management
• Last but not least, someone with a very good understanding of financial risk and knowledge of robust frameworks to promote risk mitigation
