Description

This role applies SRE principles—SLOs, error budgets, automation, and blameless postmortems—to mission‑critical enterprise platforms that underpin API traffic, event-driven integrations, and high‑scale query workloads. The SRE partners closely with platform engineering, application teams, security, and cloud infrastructure teams to design, operate, and continuously improve highly available services.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure high availability and resilience through multi‑region design, failover strategies, and capacity planning.
• Proactively identify reliability risks through architecture reviews, dependency mapping, and failure‑mode analysis.
• Lead platform readiness for peak traffic events, releases, and major integrations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered.
• Hands-on Defining, implement, and own SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for key enterprise services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Office experience 
• Experience working in multi-platform environment
• Ability to balance both development and support roles
• Experience in working on projects that involve business segments
• Strong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups

Compensation Range:

Total Base Pay Range 70,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
