What you will accomplish together with us:
Work with Product Management and Regional Business Managers to create and implement department initiatives to increase YOY sales
Support the sales organization and customers on existing products through subject matter expertise, virtual product presentations, and onsite demonstrations
Provide initial training and continued education for Account Managers
Help develop and create new tools and process to support Account Managers with increasing close rate and decreasing cost of sale.
Develop strong relationships with internal team members and external customers
What will convince us
Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience in sales/applications in Life Science industry or related
2+ years of Application Specialist experience preferred
Product and application expertise a plus
Ability to effectively interface with product/project/division management
Ability to travel 50-70% within the assigned territory
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Flexible attitude, proactivity, and commitment to delivering results
Capable of working independently and as a part of a team

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $95,000.00 and $105,000.00 depending upon experience and qualifications. Commissions for this position generally range up to 30% of a candidate’s base salary.
