What you’ll doAs the leader of the FP&A team, this role will be responsible for directing and performing financial analysis and modeling, designing and preparing the financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to management. This individual will manage Lilt’s consolidated financial reporting and forecasting, and partner closely with leaders across the company to deliver accurate and actionable insights. This person will play an integral role in driving value across the company and apply financial expertise to inform Lilt’s overall strategy.
[For IN]: This position will be based out of our Indy, IN office and employees will be expected to come into the office in a hybrid capacity.[For hubs without an office location yet]: This role will work remotely from <location> until such time as the Company establishes permanent office premises, at which time this role will be expected to work in the office in a hybrid capacity.
This position is not fully remote. If you are not located in the hub for the role, relocation is required prior to their start date and offer will be contingent on relocation. We do not offer relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for establishing FP&A procedures and policies that ensure financial reporting is timely, accurate and useful
  • Build and manage a world-class FP&A team
  • Drive operational excellence through financial analysis
  • Manage cash burn and cost cutting initiatives
  • Develop annual strategic plan/budget and manage the rolling forecast
  • Review BvA analyses, discuss with Department Heads and ensure that revenue and operating results are updated timely
  • Provide Exec team with business insights and information to make strategic business decisions
  • Perform scenario analyses and ROI analysis
  • Thought partner to VP Finance and CEO

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Minimum 10+ years in FP&A or similar position with emphasis on forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling
  • BA or BS in business, finance, economics, accounting or related fields. CPA/MBA preferred
  • Adept at multitasking in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Experienced team leader
  • Proactive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-driven, action-oriented and high degree of ownership
  • Hands-on, with the ability to transition from strategic thinking to tactical execution
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of organizational awareness, ability to connect the dots to understand interdependencies and the big picture
  • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles is required
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Anaplan and GSuite required
