The Shipping and Receiving team oversee the delivery and receivership of our innovative energy products. We pack and process orders for global on-site and offshore locations to ensure accurate and successful delivery.

As a Shipping and Receiving professional, you will receive inbound material from suppliers, perform Shipping/Receiving functions, and maintain an orderly yard. You will also assist with the completion of all paperwork associated with these tasks, performing cycle counts and related computer work. This position may include evening and/or weekend work with frequent overtime required.
 

As a Shipping and Receiving specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Performing data entry into respective systems timely & accurately

• Receiving, classifying, and stocking incoming goods from within Baker Hughes and vendors, both physically and systematically using SAP.

• Creating deliveries and shipments in SAP for all parts shipping out.

• Picking materials, components and end products and deliver them to production or shipping (both locally and internationally).

• Performing cycle counts of stock to ensure accurate cleanup and maintained inventory.

• Using a forklift to assist with duties and other tasks in our warehouse and yard.

• Preparing component kits for production, orders and supplier subcontract parts to ensure correct delivery of requirements.

To be successful in this role you will:

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.

• Ability to operate computers and machines with digital controls or outputs

• SAP experience related to inventory control, warehouse, shipping, or receiving

• Thorough understanding and ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other material moving equipment 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Flexible – willing to learn new skills and support with whatever task is needed

• Must be able to work 2nd shift and overtime including weekends based on business need

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Desired Characteristics:

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations

• In-depth knowledge of processing receipts or shipments

• Familiarity with Completions and Wellbore Intervention product 

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
