PART TIME NON-EXEMPT ASSISTANT RESEARCH SCHOLAR

Description

Provides research assistance for various projects performing routine and recurring tasks.

Key Responsibility

 Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications using modern technologies (MERN stack and others).

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient, innovative solutions that meet business

requirements.

 Design and implement APIs for smooth integration between front-end and back-end systems.

 Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on performance and usability.

 Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for scalability, speed, and reliability.

 Ensure security best practices are followed in code and infrastructure, maintaining compliance with relevant

standards.

 Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.

 Optimize web applications for search engine performance and adhere to SEO best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, or similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating

your expertise.

 Strong proficiency in JavaScript (React, Node.js) and familiarity with related frameworks and libraries.

 Solid experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and modern web technologies.

 Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

 Knowledge of web optimization techniques, including SEO and performance tuning.

 Familiarity with security protocols, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

 Ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment.

 Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

 Bonus: Experience with AI, machine learning, or cognitive economics is a plus.
