Description
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) performs many varied functions for the Cabinet for Health and Family
Services. OIG has six Divisions, Division of Regulated Child Care, Division of Health Care, Division of
Telehealth Services, Division of KY Health Information Exchange, Certificate of Need, and Division of Audits
and Investigations. These Divisions cover a wide variety of job tasks and duties in varied settings
throughout Kentucky, which include inspecting and licensing childcare and healthcare facilities and services,
and conducting investigations of complaints in those facilities, as well as conducting Medicaid fraud and
other types of complaint investigations for the Cabinet.
Our Human Services Program Compliance Analysts are responsible for coordinating the licensure and certification programs for health care facilities and services. This position interacts with the public through phone or written communication relating to their licensure applications, certifications, and re- certifications. The Human Services Program Compliance Analyst coordinates initial licensure applications and requests survey visits from the Enforcement Branches.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinates the licensure and certification programs for health care facilities.
- Process packets for various levels of healthcare facilities and services in Kentucky.
- Interact with the public through phone and written correspondence in relation to licensing and certification of facilities and services.
- Ensure that licensure and re-licensure applications are processed timely and correctly.
- Verify that appropriate paperwork is completed and mail notification to the provider.
- Coordinates initial applications and request survey visits from the Enforcement Branches.
- Maintains a working knowledge of new and existing regulations that apply to the specific licensures and certifications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds and in diverse settings.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills.
- Proficiency with use of computers and various software programs for daily tasks.
- Highly organized
- Experience managing a large case load.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Two years of professional experience in providing or administering health services, social services and/or unemployment services.
