SAP Tech

The SAP Tech is responsible for working directly with the business to review SAP notifications, plan, schedule and assist with completion of work activities in the SAP application. The SAP Tech will work with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to create, plan, schedule, and complete tasks in SAP and will also interact with Finance, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain and Vendors.

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong analytical, communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. Some experience in SAP and knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred.
 

Location: Seminole and Sundown, TX 

Contract Duration: 12 months subject to extension

Task planning and workflow coordination for multiple Crafts

• Attend daily Plant meetings to ensure work is captured for planning and scheduling
• Plan, prioritize and coordination of both corrective and preventative work utilizing input from Operations and Craft Leadership

o Determine manpower, equipment and materials required for effective and efficient completion of planned work

o Assignment of both in-house crafts and outside resources for effective and efficient completion of planned work

o Scheduling of planned work based on PSM requirements and production risk

o Coordination with Global Supply Chain / Warehousing around components and spares requirements for upcoming work

• Monitoring of budgeted cost/timing progress for scheduled work
• Generation and distribution of KPI reports (work order completion, equipment failures by type, work order planned vs actual cost, etc.) utilizing information from the CMMS (SAP)

 

 

• Experience in SAP
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and SAP systems
• Good at math and statistics
