Job Summary: As an Infrastructure Engineer III within Workplace Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Azure Infrastructure portfolio. You will collaborate with a talented team, focusing on automation, monitoring, and security to ensure stability and performance. Your expertise will contribute to the success of IT projects and the continuous improvement of our infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain Azure-hosted infrastructure, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
• Design and implement automation processes using Terraform for Azure.
• Conduct proactive monitoring to identify and address potential infrastructure issues.
• Maintain and test backup and recovery processes for data protection and business continuity.
• Manage software updates to ensure systems are current and secure.
• Provide support for cloud-based server and SQL database environments.
• Collaborate on IT projects, offering technical expertise throughout their lifecycle.
• Partner with the Cyber Security team to implement security changes and remediation work.
• Support the deployment of new applications and infrastructure, evaluating emerging technologies.
• Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects to successful completion.
• Provide training and support to IT team members in specialized areas.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Formal training or certification in Azure cloud services with advanced experience.
• Expertise in using Terraform for automation and orchestration of cloud resources.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security configurations in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, and Python for task automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure compute services, networking, and management tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines to support agile development and deployment processes.
• Ability to develop scripts and tooling in Python and a shell scripting language (Bash or PowerShell).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Experience with both Azure and AWS environments.
