Generalist I - Human Resources

JOB SUMMARY

 Working under the direction of HR Leadership, the HR Generalist will be a representative of the HR Department, facilitating HR Functions and Programs. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Administer employee policies and promote a positive employee relations experience

·       Successfully carries out work assigned by HR Leadership

·       Follows up on all tasks with HR Team members and/or clients; provides clear updates on status of tasks

·       Answer associate requests and questions

·       Participate in legal compliance as it relates to obtaining, sorting and managing information

·       Regular review and oversight of PODS Employee Recognition Program, Blue Door.  Ensure the program is being utilized per plan guidelines and manage the process when the guidelines are being violated.

·       Demonstrates knowledge of HR Management practices; demonstrates commitment to own development as HR Professional

·       Performs work for projects as determined by HR Leadership Team

·       May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements 

·       1-2 years’ experience in an HR Generalist

·       Associate Degree with course work in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field preferred

·       Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
