NFP is hiring a Sales Support Analyst. 

The Sales Support Analyst serves as a dedicated Analyst to sales leadership managing a referral channel. The Sales Support Analyst and will own quoting support, data gathering, liaison between carrier and clients, and maintaining trackers and Salesforce. While in this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships internally, with clients, carriers, benadmin systems and other partner representatives. This role will partner with sales leadership to support the implementation of new clients. This role entails a great deal of verbal, electronic, and other written communications and work is completed with a significant amount of independent discretion. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Work proactively to develop relationships internally, with clients, and with carrier/vendor partners. 

· Clearly communicate carrier requirements to install coverage with client. Often will include setting client expectations and appropriate timelines. 

· Escalate to sales leadership any carrier/vendor service or performance challenges. 

· Collaborate with sales leadership for complex service inquiries. 

· Partner with sales leadership to understand benefit strategy and provide critical support by leading all tactical aspects of the implementation process: communication with General Agents, prepping RFPs, use of quoting tools, gathering data from benadmin systems, working as the liaison between the client and carrier to bind coverage, following up on implementation paperwork until coverage is bound, confirmation that BOR letters processed, confirmation of commission amounts, and other communications. 

· Ensure all client data is entered into CRM System (Salesforce, SharePoint, and Smartsheet) in a timely manner. 

· Ensure BA Agreements are sent to all sold groups and documented within client folder. 

· Maintain Rippling Salesforce referrals to improve transparency throughout the sales process. 

· Develop a deeper understanding of benefits strategy and other domain expertise under the mentorship of sales leadership. 

· Partner with sales leadership, operations, and executive leadership to streamline processes and deliver service more efficiently and effectively to improve the client and partner experience. 

· Flex to support special projects at the direction of operations leadership in support of sales process. 

· Assist with any service level issues that might occur with a client prior to transitioning to the account management team. 

· Once a group transitions to the account management team, answering questions or providing any additional support to the assigned account manager. 

· Perform other duties as assigned and consistently makes independent judgements subject to general supervisor support.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: 

· Knowledge of benefits administration, brokerage operations, HealthCare reform, industry trends, and carrier products and services. 

· Excellent organization and communication skills. 

· Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs. 

· Ability to prioritize completing priorities and effective time management. 

· Diligent follow up skills. 

· Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications. 

· Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Education and/or Experience:

· BA/BS Preferred 

· Typically more than 5 years industry experience and product line experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration: 

· Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License a plus, may require licensure within agreed upon timeframe.
