As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work assist in preparing medications for patients. While you may not interact with patients directly every day, your efforts will make a meaningful difference in their lives and treatments. On this team, you will find an approachable, supportive and open-door policy, with managers prioritizing healthy work-life balance and caregiver wellness. 

A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 6:00AM – 2:30PM or 2:30PM - 11:00AM. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.  

  • Fill medication carts daily.  

  • Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy.  

  • Repackage bulk medications.  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • High School Diploma or GED.  

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National HealthCareer Association (NHA) 

  • Registration through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician Training Program 

  • Six months of hospital experience
