JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated student with a strong computer or technical background—preferably majoring in Computer Engineering or a related field—to assist with operational workflows, inventory oversight, and general process improvement efforts across the Campus Housing department. This part-time role (up to 20 hours per week) offers valuable hands-on experience applying technical skills in a professional environment, supporting departmental efficiency and reporting functions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

·       Support the development and delivery of operational reports using Microsoft 365 tools, with an emphasis on resourceful and solution-oriented approaches.

·       Assist with maintaining and auditing Excel-based tracking systems, including:

  • Key inventory and key code records (Residential Life)

  • Campus storage inventory (Prime and All-Campus locations)

·       Utilize Power Automate to assist in managing workflows such as incident reporting and other recurring tasks.

·       Provide technical support for front desk and office computer installations and troubleshooting.

·       Collaborate with Area Directors and other departmental staff to support administrative functions and special projects as assigned.

·       Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Enrolled in a Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related major.

·       Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

·       Familiarity with Power Automate or willingness to learn.

·       Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

·       Part-time position, up to 20 hours per week

·       Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
