Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Sustainability Enablement at Bristol Myers Squibb will advance the company’s environmental commitments by operationalizing sustainability initiatives and fostering employee engagement. This role leads the global strategy for the Go Green employee sustainability network and oversees the implementation of the My Green Lab program, driving innovation and environmental stewardship across BMS. Responsibilities include designing engagement programs, developing communications, analyzing activity metrics, and using data to inform continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the global strategy for BMS’s employee-led sustainability network, Go Green, in alignment with enterprise sustainability goals.
- Refresh the strategy annually, incorporating employee feedback and external trends to ensure relevance and impact.
- Design and implement innovative programs, events, and partnerships that engage employees worldwide in environmental sustainability.
- Mentor and guide global and local Go Green leaders to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to embed Go Green into daily operations across business units
- Lead the implementation and strategic oversight of BMS’s global My Green Lab initiative, collaborating with internal stakeholders and the external My Green Lab nonprofit to expand program reach and impact.
- Provide leadership in developing communications and educational resources to drive awareness and adoption.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics and data to assess progress, inform decision-making, and continuously improve program effectiveness.
- Work across the My Green Lab ecosystem and the internal enterprise to leverage My Green lab as a tool for increased innovation and discovery.
- Collaborate with external partners on environmental stewardship activities
- Evaluate the effectiveness and strategic value of internal sustainability programs by collecting, managing, and analyzing activity-based metrics. Use data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement and guide future-facing decisions.
- Create sustainability communications in collaboration with Corporate Affairs and implement through diverse platforms.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BS Degree in Science discipline; advanced degree such as an MS preferred
- 5+ years experience in program implementation, with global project and program management experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in the sustainability arena
- Demonstrated competency in analyzing impact metrics and using data for decision-making
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently, while influencing across a matrix with self-awareness and emotional intelligence

Compensation Overview:
Devens - MA - US: $139,260 - $168,745 New Brunswick - NJ - US: $126,600 - $153,408 Princeton - NJ - US: $126,600 - $153,408The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided
