Job Summary

Collaborates with the surrounding perioperative departments as needed to provide surgical staff with supplies, reports, and tracking.

Essential Functions

• Performs system data entry and follow-up required to establish and maintain inventory within the OptiFlex, Workday, and/or Pyxis programs (to include all of its par locations throughout perioperative services). Provide needed reports and/or computerized records.

• Completes inventory processes, inclusive of, but not limited to stock additions, changes, deletions, receiving, pick confirmation, issuing corrections, replenishment verification, and cycle/physical inventory counts. Process product returns, orders, and transfers.

• Performs case pick process, determined by Picklist, to include scheduled and add-on cases in an accurate and timely manner.     

• Prepares, prints, distributes, and ensures retrieval and storage integrity of purchasing and/or inventory control documents.

• Assists with the departmental phones to expedite supplies needed to the OR.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience - Two (2) years of healthcare materials services / materials handling. Materials Management Information System experience preferred
