Accounting Lead (AP/AR)A well-established agriculture company is seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to oversee its Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and partnering with operations in a fast-paced crop management environment.What You’ll DoLead and oversee the AP and AR departments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and complianceManage day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliationsReview workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and internal controlsCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, management, and external partnersProvide guidance, training, and mentorship to AP/AR staffSupport month-end close activities and reporting as needed
What We’re Looking in the Accounting Lead Proven experience overseeing AP and AR functionsPrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong understanding of accounting principles and internal controlsExperience in agriculture, crop management, or a related industry is a plusDetail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
