Northrop Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division, has an opening for a Logistics Support 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at the Redondo Beach Campus.

Responsibilities:

• Support Area Management teams in very dynamic high bays/labs throughout Operations.

• Responsible for supporting an Area Manager(s) with day-to-day operations on the floor for minimum level of compliance.

• Maintain inventory and supply of shelf-life material, required consumables, supplies, etc.

• Restocks Garments and prepare for garment pick up

• Cleans near Flight Hardware where our vendor cleaning staff cannot enter

• Requires some janitorial duties within our clean rooms

• Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities

• Ability to assist with routine audits, safety protocol, cleanliness standards, maintenance of established environmental controls/logs

• Assist with hazardous material (HazMat) waste and property disposal

• Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing constraints

• Support inventory of chemicals, materials, equipment, etc.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications (Level 3):                      

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) plus 4 years of experience in operations management, lab or area management, project management, or equivalent logistics fields.

• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Clearance or SCI Access.
