About the role

The Trial Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales process by partnering closely with sales executives and customers or potential customers by leading product trials within their designated territory.  Product trials include WestLaw, Practical Law or Co-Counsel Core products. 

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Trial Specialist you will: 

  • Own and manage trial process from beginning to end 

  • Meet or exceed designated key productivity indicators to drive revenue, increased trial to sale conversation rates, and product usage

  • Gather feedback throughout trial process to aid in closing managed trials 

  • Utilize internal partners, product experts, and digital training assets to answer customer questions

  • Work with Marketing on reporting, surveying trial users and gathering testimonials and feedback

  • Deliver trial value deck to sales executives at the end of managed trial process

  • Stay apprised of current and future product enhancements, features and value articulation to support the trial process

About You

You may be a fit for the Trial Specialist role if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Thomson Reuters product experience preferred 

  • 2+ years B2B sales experience

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability work independently as well as in a team environment 

  • Ability to multi-task and triage multiple projects at once

  • High degree of professionalism and flexibility 

  • Customer-centric focus 

  • Self-starter with significant personal initiative
