The Opportunity:
 

As the CACI Operations Lead for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) J2 Counter-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (C-UAS) project, you will oversee the development and implementation of a global national tactical architecture for coordinating across the Intelligence Community to counter unique signals associated with enemy Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement a global national tactical architecture for countering enemy UAS signals
  • Create and manage project schedules and timelines for the C-UAS initiative
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including intelligence analysts, engineers, and military personnel
  • Oversee resource allocation and budget management for the project
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports to USSOCOM leadership and stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Project Technical Lead to integrate cutting-edge UAS detection and countermeasure technologies
  • Focus primarily on countering small unmanned aerial systems (C-sUAS)
  • Develop strategies to expand the project scope to address all unmanned systems in the future
  • Ensure compliance with intelligence community authorities, regulations, policies, and US laws
  • Maintain high standards of operational security and ethical conduct
  • Lead and manage the project team effectively
  • Stay updated on emerging UAS technologies and counter-UAS strategies
  • Contribute to enhancing national security capabilities against UAS threats

In addition:

Responsible for directing and supervising the daily project management activities and communicating all project related priorities and requirements to other members on the project and to the MAAP FGL. You will also be responsible for updating project schedules, coordinating travel requirements, and the development and consolidation of all projected related reporting requirements including but not limited to client feedback reports, the project’s Monthly Status Report and the monthly Technical Status Meeting (TSM) slide. In consultation with the client, you will submit project Deliverables for review and acceptance. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • coordination with interagency partners, test personnel, and cross-functional teammates within DoD.
  • coordinate issues across multiple DoD Components, to include the Interagency, and provide support to strategic partners
  • coordinate with technical SMEs to keep C-UAS developmental programs on schedule.
  • coordinate collection, processing, locating, identifying, analyzing, and reporting on SIGINT information to support tactical, operational, and strategic requirements across all domains.
  • coordinate staff actions across the USSOCOM enterprise and community of interest to fulfill the project’s C-UAS requirements, milestones and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in project management within the defense or intelligence sector, a strong background in UAS technologies and counter-UAS strategies, and a proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and team management abilities. Your success in this role will contribute significantly to enhancing national security capabilities and protecting US interests against emerging UAS threats globally.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • Master’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of directly relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in operations coordination roles of responsibility within an O-5 or above tactical, operational, or strategic level command.  
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real time knowledge management systems.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
