At RIVA, people are our #1 priority.Project DescriptionRIVA is providing technical services and support of Product Development (PD)services in support of increasing the Data Maturity of their customer. The services and support requested include project management, platform and application product development, data services, data taxonomy and data management, application security, and delivery management The purpose of this work is to provide service-oriented IT support to the customer’s Product Delivery Division, for ongoing support services of the customer’s Data Services. RIVA will be providing an integrated, manageable, scalable, and flexible solution that meets the core support services and that maximizes the use of commercially available provisioned service solutions such that the purchase of new infrastructure is minimized. RIVA will provide services based on the Enterprise Core Services such that the Government can benefit from the existing services and economies of scale. RIVA will present a solution that easily provides for evolution of services and that provides a proactive approach to ensuring service evolution and innovation occurs. Evolution includes technological effectiveness in meeting the missions and providing reduced cost and increased efficiency over time. Position Description and Responsibilities

- The Data Engineer shall be responsible for the maintenance and support of the Azure Purview data management PaaS.
- The Data Engineer must understand the methods and practices for performing advanced analytics at scale with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Power BI.
- They must be proficient in the use of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks for creating data processing solutions.
- The Data Engineer will also be responsible for supporting and advising on ITA’s data taxonomy, governance, and strategy
- MS/MA Degree
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
