Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently pulling products for customer orders, loading and unloading refrigerated trailers with eggs using pallet jacks and forklifts. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, contributing to the overall success of our shipping and receiving operations.
Essential Job Functions
- Pull and palletize orders with the correct quantity and SKU, wrap with plastic, and prepare for loading on delivery trailers.
- Utilize standup forklifts and ride-on pallet jacks to load and unload semi-trailers and move freight around the warehouse.
- Load all outgoing containers and trailers in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Actively participate in and promote a safety culture by following safe work practices and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Report incidents, accidents and any unsafe conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Learn product SKUs and become proficient with load/pick sheets and picking software.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a forklift driving test.
- Ability to read, understand, and speak simple sentences and follow directions and instructions.
- Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with two-digit numbers, and working with money, weight, volume, and distance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in various climate conditions including extreme heat and cold environments, walking, standing, and sitting for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and/or holiday hours as required based on the production demand
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
- Forklift and pallet jack certifications preferred.
