Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Human Resources Generalist for our Leadership and Human Resources Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Human Resources Generalist you will:
• Performs day-to-day HR functions (employee relations support, unemployment administration, operational metrics tracking (i.e. worker’s compensation, Family Medical Leave, etc., Licensure,) and assists with HR files during the Joint Commission.
• Takes initiative to improve the service level by assessing processes and programs and working with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) to refine same.
• Assists in implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures and trains managers on various policies and practices
• Works collaboratively with the HRBP to provide excellent human resources support across the campus by working with leadership and staff to promote and successfully accomplish AHC initiatives – Onboarding PDP, Workday Learning, engagement surveys, etc.
• Assists leadership and staff by answering questions and providing training in various areas including, but not limited to, Workday and UKG.
• Facilitates onboarding process to include but not limited to E-Verify process, coordinates new hire orientation and assist in the onboarding on new team members.
• Acts as the back-up to the HRBP as needed.
• Maintaining HR file room with appropriate compliance documents and Electronic Filing.

Qualifications include:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
•2-4 years of HR experience
•PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Pay Range:

$57,606.24 - $83,532.80

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:

United States of America (Exempt)
