The IronBirds are excited to offer career opportunities for new or experienced sports professionals.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The IronBirds seek candidates for the role of Bat Person. The Bat Person is a crucial role to the daily game of baseball. Each time an at-bat ends, the bat person will be required to collect any equipment discarded by the batter, as well as retrieving foul balls that remain in the field of play, providing new balls to the umpire, and performing other tasks as needed by the teams or umpires on field. Bat persons should be at least 15 years of age and capable of working baseball games starting at 7:00PM and concluding 2 to 5 hours later. Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Retrieving bats, helmets, or other equipment from the field of play between batters or between innings, and removing all equipment from the on-deck circle of the team which batted the previous half-inning.&n
