Role Summary

MetaPhase is seeking a Database Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of experience to be a part of a federal team supporting an awesome project that plays a critical role in the federal space!

What You Will Be Doing

Ensuring robust customer support, monitoring, and system stability and availability.
Prioritizing development efforts and performing back refinement directly with client stakeholders on technical modifications and requirements.
Managing database cloud infrastructure for development, test, stage, and production environments, including installation, upgrades, patching.
Providing backup and restore, redundancy, resiliency, and data migration support across application environments.

What We Need From You (Required)

Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience with Database Administration
Proficient in SQL and the ability to write PL/SQL functions and stored procedures from scratch or debug, maintain or enhance existing code.
Maintain Oracle database performance by conducting performance tuning, analyzing and refining SQL and PL/SQL code, and working with Java developers to ensure proper database interoperability.
Intermediate or advanced competency with collaboration tools such as Atlassian suite (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira) as well as Microsoft Office, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Comfortable developing in a highly collaborative agile development environment (i.e. iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.)
Solid communication skills (written and verbal to various audiences), and collaborative approach with clients, team members, and partners.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience if no degree
