As a CNC Programmer, you will play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs used to produce high-precision components that support advanced aviation and defense technologies. Our Team

You'll be part of a dedicated manufacturing team specializing in the production of high-tolerance aerospace components. Our division thrives on collaboration, continuous improvement, and a commitment to delivering exceptional products to our defense and aviation partners. You will work closely with machinists, engineers, quality teams, and production leadership to drive operational excellence and support manufacturing success.

Hours: 2nd Shift; 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday - Thursday
Compensation: Compensation in this role will range from $25 to $35 hourly, based on experience with a 6% shift differential.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, create, and maintain CNC programs for milling equipment
  • Utilize Mastercam software to generate toolpaths and machining programs from engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, specifications, and manufacturing documentation to create accurate programs
  • Select tooling, cutting parameters, workholding methods, and machining strategies for production processes
  • Support machine setup, program prove-out, and troubleshooting activities on the production floor
  • Modify and optimize existing CNC programs to improve machining efficiency and reduce cycle times
  • Verify program accuracy through simulation, first article inspections, and production validation
  • Maintain CNC program documentation, tooling records, and revision control requirements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience utilizing Mastercam
  • 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience creating and editing CNC programs for CNC mills
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience applying GD&T principles in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
