We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to build simple and
fast software to push user experience forward.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Team Leads to deliver data
• to the browser and capture user interaction.
• Extend the functionality of products and work to eliminate deficiencies
• in the current release.
• Apply understanding of feature requirements to participate in
• engineering design sessions and do clean code developments.
• Work in a fast-paced Agile CI/CD (continuous integration and
• continuous deployment/delivery) environment and participate in the
• Agile process, standup, sprint planning, retro meetings, etc.
• Integrate and collaborate with other team members to deliver new
• features and bug fixes at a high velocity.
• Work on multiple products to extend functionality and to eliminate
• deficiencies.
• Build web interfaces using the latest JavaScript frameworks.
• Apply knowledge of cross-browser limitations and workarounds while
• using basic UX principles and user experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in
• Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Two years of experience in software engineering.
• Alternative qualifications: Employer will accept a Master’s degree or
• equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related
• field in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in
• software engineering.

Work experience to include:

• Two years of experience (or any experience if qualifying with a
• Master’s degree) building web interfaces.
• Using the latest JavaScript frameworks (including Angular, React,
• Ember, Backbone, or jQuery).
• Using HTML5, CSS3, and Ajax.
• Using server-side technologies, including Node, Ruby, or PHP.

• Utilizing UX principles.
• Using C# and XML.
• Working with relational databases (including SQL, MySQL, and
• Oracle) and NoSQL databases (including MongoDB).
• Utilizing Agile methodologies and tools, including SCRUM and Jira.
• Working with Jenkins and Apache servers, to include using
• Maven.
• Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
   

Hours:
40 hrs./wk.
 

Salary:
$147,368.00 to $148,368.00 per year.
