About the role

The Bar Assistant works harmoniously and professionally with bartender and other co-workers to assist in maintaining stocks by assisting with inventory, change kegs, collect empty glassware, maintain the cleanliness of the bar, efficiently and continuously re-stock bartender area with liquor, ice, fruit, straws, etc. necessary for guest and bartender use. The Bar Assistant helps the bartender with monitoring guests at the bar and completing guest requests to ascertain satisfaction and ensure exceptional service.

The Ty Bar is currently looking for a Bar Server Assistant who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The Bartender serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items and information regarding preparation methods. 

What you bring:

• Ability to build and maintain rapport with regular guests as well as cultivating relationships with new patrons
• Thoroughly understand Four Seasons’ quality standards in food presentation, beverage and service and implement them
• Ensure and maintain consistent standards through day-to-day communication, daily briefings and on-going training
• Communicate effectively with the Kitchen through regular contact before, during and after service and ensure the team is up to date on menu changes, availabilities and specials
• Ensure appropriate mise-en-place and service team for the operation is in place in all areas
• Constantly check the quality of food & beverages served
• Offer service to all guests in a manner which exceeds expectations
• Sense guest needs and quickly respond to maximum satisfaction (i.e. service co-ordination and timely execution)
• Understand methods of preparation and presentation of all foods served

Schedule & Hours:

This role is a full time, on-site role. 

Compensation:

$28.47 - $37.96
