Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Leadership Development, to join our organization. As the Senior Manager, Leadership Development, you will be responsible for creating and implementing development strategies that enhance the managerial and leadership capabilities of our managers and leaders. Your primary goal will be to shift mindsets, behaviors, and build manager and leader capabilities across our global organization.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for manager and leadership development:
- Create a vision and roadmap for manager and leadership development initiatives, aligned with the organization's goals and values.
- Identify key areas for improvement and design programs that address specific manager and leadership challenges.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to gain insights into their development needs and expectations.
2. Shape development offerings:
- Prioritize critical roles within the organization and determine the appropriate leadership development interventions.
- Design and implement various methodologies such as open enrollment courses, cohort-based learning, on-the-job exposure, coaching, feedback, and other relevant approaches.
- Continuously evaluate and refine development programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of leaders.
3. Own leadership development programmatic tools:
- Manage and oversee the effective utilization of development tools and resources, such as external vendors, to maximize individual and organizational impact.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in leadership development and integrate them into the program as appropriate.
- Measure and track the effectiveness of coaching and development tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing manager and leadership development programs. Experience with high potential and VP+ development a plus.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, leadership theories, and behavioral change methodologies.
- Familiarity with various leadership assessment tools and frameworks. Certifications preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and track progress.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels. Extensive experience facilitating impactful learning.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of leadership development initiatives.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify critical development areas and design appropriate interventions.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of talent review and succession planning methodologies.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 167,365 - 249,040 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
