The Job:
As an Sr. Project Manager you’ll be part of our Global Product Development team as a remote employee. Smart Storage Solutions is a fast growing business unit, combination of hardware and software solutions aimed towards the industrial sector. This position will work with multiple brands within the Smart Storage portfolio. You’ll get to:
Partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Operations, Sales, Software Development and other departments to create cross functional teams, to define project scope, design, and resource requirements for projects.
Ensure all projects have the shortest project development cycle time possible, while ensuring quality, reliability, supportability, and manufacturability are designed into the product from the very beginning.
Ensuring all deliverables are completed to a high degree and launch new products on time and on budget.
Hold regular reviews with each project team member as well as managers from all disciplines, to ensure program and project plans are aligned with the innovation strategy.
Independently lead projects that range in complexity in new/existing markets and technology.
Works closely with the Commercial Team, Product Management team, and Sales Enablement team to bring the project to market.
Manages project planning and assists the direction of the Development and Engineering teams.
Reports progress of the project to management and manages deadlines for the product release.
Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Facilitates product training for Support, Sales, and Implementation departments.

Minimum of 10 years in Project and/or Program Management.
Experienced in managing new product development projects from conception to commercialization for interaction with mechanical and electronic equipment. Experience managing new Software product development projects from definition to release is a bonus.
Experience working in Waterfall/PhaseGate Project Management processes preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, SharePoint and MS Teams.
Prepared for travel up to 20% of time annually to support business needs at our Marietta office.
