Maintenance Clerk

THIS IS A 1ST SHIFT NON-EXEMPT POSITION WITH STARTING PAY OF $19 TO $19.50/HOUR.

• Perform inventory cycle count.
• Receive parts deliveries at loading dock and into inventory in the Maintenance Parts Room.
• Aid mechanics in finding the correct parts.
• Ensure all changes to the inventory are made promptly and accurately.
• Perform general organizational and data entry tasks.
• Maintains vendor relations.
• Coordinates the repair of repairable inventory.
• Perform other tasks as directed.

• Eighteen months of education and training beyond high school level in general maintenance and repair, or a closely related area.
• Two (2) years experience or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures. Formal training in related fields will substitute on a year for year basis.
  
• Good general familiarity food manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; comfortable learning and using inventory control software.
• Organized, excellent time management, and attention to detail.
• Reliable; excellent attendance.
• Willingness and ability to grow and learn additional skills.
• Able to adapt to new duties quickly and work independently.
