The Southeast Community Center
Located at 1550 Evans Avenue in San Francisco, the Southeast Community Center (SECC) is a partnership between SFPUC’s Wastewater Enterprise and the External Affairs Bureau, in response to, in partnership with, and in service of local Southeast communities. SECC is a hub for local community to gather, learn, play, and grow, and features an expanded low-cost childcare center, a cafe, public workspaces, conference rooms, free WI-FI and an event space and amphitheater for community events. A state-of-the-art building featuring local artwork, SECC also hosts many programs and services provided by community-based organizations as well as greenspaces for gathering and play. The long-standing partnership between San Francisco’s Southeast communities and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission aims to promote the health, well-being, cultural, educational, and financial empowerment of Southeast residents.
Job Description
The recruitment is being used to fill two 1820 positions in support of SFPUC’s Southeast Community Center and key community programs.
Resident Partner Liaison
Project name: TENANT PARTNER PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The 1820 Junior Administrative Analyst serves as the Resident Partner Liaison. This role will be responsible for providing administrative, programmatic, and relationship management support to advance key goals and strategic objectives of the historic Southeast Community Facility (SECF) mitigation agreement on behalf of the SFPUC.
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing tenant operations, supporting community relations and SECC programs. The Resident Partner Liaison serves as the primary point of contact for all tenant matters and will track, analyze, and report on tenant effectiveness at the SECC.
This role will assist in the development and implementation of ongoing programs and operations at the Southeast Community Center. This includes but is not limited to community programs, day-to-day tenant operations, facilities requests, and other programmatic and operational needs.
The Resident Partner Liaison interfaces with the public, with an emphasis on San Francisco’s District 10.
Essential Functions:
- Support the overall vision to ensure the SECC functions as a vibrant and thriving community space.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants on behalf of SFPUC divisions (Real Estate, Emergency Planning, Finance, etc.) and ensure customer service needs are meet.
