POSITION SUMMARY 

The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the products developed by the engineering team meet the requirements of the product team and will work for our customers. This role will work closely with the product team to understand the requirements and needs of our customers, and then develop and execute test plans to validate that the engineering team's work meets those requirements. The QA Analyst will also work with the engineering team to identify and fix any defects that are found during testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies and a proven track record of success in QA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Develop and execute manual test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across various products and microservices
• Identify, report, and track defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution, re-testing resolved issues to confirm proper fixes.
• Work closely with engineers and PMs to solve problems and clear roadblocks, ensuring high-quality, timely project delivery
• Test increasingly complex projects as you build a functional and technical understanding of our applications
• Verify urgent fixes for production issues
• Collaborate on cross-product testing initiatives with members of other QA teams
• Contribute to automation testing efforts

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience in a related field
• 2 - 4 years of experience in manual software testing with a strong preference for enterprise SaaS products
• 1 - 2 years of experience in automation software testing with a strong preference for Cypress
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively about technical topics (verbal and written)
• Experience with Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Self-motivated

• While this role is based in Irvine, California, we're open to exploring US-based remote possibilities for qualified candidates.

BONUS POINTS IF 

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or solid knowledge of CS fundamentals (OOP, design patterns, algorithms, etc.)
• Experience and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
