The Advanced Effectors (AE) Product Area, within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit is seeking an onsite program controls analyst.  The analyst will support a key franchise competitive win for Raytheon, currently awarded at approximately $1.5B, with additional unexercised options to be priced. This analyst will be joining the program at a very critical and exciting time as the program is currently proposing a large follow-on contract expected this year.

You will work closely with finance management in supporting contractual Earned Value implementation.  The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced team environment, work across multiple organizations and levels of leadership, and meet deadlines. This candidate is detail focused, seeks process improvement and efficiency opportunities, and works to ensure the program successfully executes. This is a challenging and rewarding role with tremendous opportunity for experience and growth.

What you Will Do

  • Prepare weekly and monthly program reports.
  • Perform Adhoc Analysis.
  • Tool implementation with process improvement focus.
  • Support Contractual Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion.(EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, EVMS CDRL preparation (IPMR/IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR).
  • Data analysis and Variance development.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment while multi-tasking.
  • Typically requires 2 years professional finance/accounting work experience.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in using ERP Systems ex. SAP Business Systems (PRISM, SAP, AO reporting).
  • Experience in using ForProject.
  • Analytical Thinking.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team player contributing new ideas.

  • This position is grade P2, Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls.
  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
