Specialist: Scheduler Radiology

Position Overview:   

The Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all radiology, spirometry, physical therapy, echocardiograms, and Holter monitor procedures for Pagosa Springs Medical Center. This position works closely with the Pre­ Certification Specialist and Insurance Verification Specialist to ensure fiscal responsibility for the medical center.  The Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler is expected to cover Payment Posting and Patient Access as assigned.

• Base Compensation Range: $18.00 - $22.38 hourly, based on years of relevant experience ranging from 0 to 11 years of experience. "Relevant experience" means relevant to the employee's responsibilities set forth in the job description as determined by the HR Manager, CAO, applicable department manager/director and applicable senior leader.

Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field is required.

Previous experience in Radiology Scheduling, Payment Posting and Registration is strongly desired, but not required.

Current AHA BLS (Heart Saver) certification is required.
