Registered Nurse | Radiation Oncology

Find your purpose at CentraCare as a Registered Nurse in Radiation Oncology! Provide direct nursing care for individuals related to radiation oncology needs. Responsible for completing a focused comprehensive health assessment, including physical, psychological, cultural, and social components, to diagnose patient problems, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team through Relationship-Based Care, to support a healthy work environment and ensure a culture of safety. Responsible for applying the scope of nursing practice defined in the standards of practice and the standards of professional performance.
Schedule:
- Part-time | Option for 32 or 40 hours every two weeks
- Days | 8am-4:30pm
- No weekends or holidays!
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $40.33 per hour
- Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
- Master’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
- Pay range: $40.33 - $60.50 per hour
- $3,500 hiring bonus for eligible candidates!

Requirements:
- Graduate from a nursing program required. Bachelor's or Masters preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required within 3 years of hire.
- A minimum of 1 year acute care experience preferred in ambulatory or Oncology nursing including telephone triage, symptom management and management of venous access devices. Demonstrates ability to effectively intervene with a patient in crisis, recognize abnormal lab results and other diagnostic testing results, skills with patient education.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- National Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred.
