About the role

Provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients in accordance with accepted standards and practices.  Directs, supervises, and coordinates functions and activities in any or all divisions of the Clinical Laboratories.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of education and training as a Histologist (HT-ASCP) or Cytologist (CT-ASCP).
  • upon hire: National Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Chemist Scientist License Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License) Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Hematology Scientist License Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License Or
  • upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special LicenseOr
  • upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License Or
  • upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License Or
  • upon hire: National Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years work experience in pathology.
  • Previous supervisory experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
