Associate Medical Staff Coordinator - Providence Health System Alaska

Supports the Medical Staff Office Department to meet the administrative needs of the Medical Staff Services Office by providing a variety of administrative services.  Responsibilities include, providing specialized assistance, coordination and support of all GME onboarding through the medical staff office. Participation with development and growth of overall GME program in compliance with all rules of the organization, accreditation regulatory requirements, policies and procedures. Role provides support to Coordinators, Supervisor and Manager of Medical Staff Services as the onsite, in person representative of the Medical Staff Office.

Position is Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week. Located onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska!

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years Progressive Administrative or Office Management Experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent educ/experience
• 1 year    Coordination of education activities and/or credentialing experience.
• 1 year    Experience in a Medical setting with Medical Terminology.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
